He is currently the Undersecretary of the Technology Transfer and R&D Commercialisation Division at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between scientific innovation and market viability, driving Malaysia’s competitive edge in the global tech landscape.

Throughout his career, he has held senior roles in the Ministry of Economy, Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Ministry of Finance and MAMPU, Prime Minister’s Department. A seasoned leader in corporate governance, he has served on the boards of several major organisations including the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO), Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), Penang Port Commission (PPC) and Perlis Economic Development Corporation.
